Envy
It is not difficult to observe the venom of envy poisoning our society today. I hear a lot of people who believe so and so doesn’t deserve this or that. It is not fair she has that car, job, house, or even parents. Some say envy is green; well, maybe, but I say “envy makes people ugly and bitter.” Sisters, don’t allow yourself to go there, or even visit the place of envy for a moment.
Envy is a poison which Satan uses to stifle our growth and keep us in a state of dissatisfaction. For happiness is never found in envy. Envy masks itself into self-pity, but is rooted in pride. Envy is a vicious monster and leads to an angry spirit which blinds us of our blessings.
If allowed, envy will steals your energy and robs you of joy. Pray to recognize the trap of envy, and choose not to walk in envy. God desires all of us to live a life of freedom, this is why He tells us to put away things which poison our soul.
Trust God, your Creator, and your Heavenly Father to provide for you, His child. He will take care of your needs, for it is a promise.
