Prayer is for you and me,
It is the key,
To unlocking the door,
And to letting the blessings pour.
Prayer is the way to seek,
And petition for the weak.
A privilege granted to all,
for it is your call.
Prayer is to request each day,
Guidance for the way.
To touch the throne of grace,
where the Lord will embrace.
Prayer is to speak from your heart,
And His love He will impart.
To listen and share,
Is the essence of prayer.
